The Empress Experience & Edit
The Empress is my life card, and the heart of my creative identity. In tarot, she represents safety, authenticity, and an earthy, intuitive femininity. She is a nurturer — a grounding presence who invites us to express ourselves fully. That is the energy I bring into every session and every celebration I photograph.
I fell in love with photography after moving to the mountains. The changing seasons, the quiet magic in the air, and the sense of place here create a stunning backdrop for milestones and the moments in between.
As a queer woman who grew up closeted in the South, I know what it means to crave a space where you can simply exist without shrinking yourself. Nothing is more meaningful to me than being that safe, affirming presence for others — someone you can show up to as your whole self, celebrated exactly as you are.
My style is intentionally different from the traditional, bright-and-airy wedding look packed with rigid timelines and posed shots. My version of timeless leans vintage-inspired, atmospheric edits that match the mood of the moment. I gravitate toward documentary-style imagery that feels candid, yet is shaped by playful prompts so you can savor your day — and get art that reflects how it truly felt.
